Door Handing

Door Handing can be confusing, so it is extremely important to determine the correct handing to avoid mistakes. To determine the handing of an interior door get on the side of the door where the hinges are visble. This will also be the side of the door that you pull, not push, in order to open the door. Now look at the door and determine which side of the door is the knob on? Right or Left? Whichever side the knob is on is the handing of the door. Thus if the knob is on the right hand side it would be a right hand door unit.
