




Door Stop is is used for exactly what its name implies... stopping the door. Stop is attached to the insdie of the door jambs to form a frame to stop the door when closing. See Figure 1 below for illustration. It is available in 3 different styles or profiles. All 3 are available in either Finger-Joint (F.J.) or Clear Pine.
Clear: Refers to moulding that is made from one solid piece of wood. This moulding is more exspensive, but is ideal if you are going to stain the trim.
Finger-Joint: Refers to moulding that is joined together from small pieces. This type of moulding is primed white for painting and is less exspensive than clear pine. If you are going to paint your mouldings this is the one you want to use.
